Roseto degli Abruzzi is set to become a hub for youth music with the launch of a music festival dedicated solely to their world. Strongly desired by Culture Councillor Francesco Luciani and the administration of Mayor Mario Nugnes, the event enters by right among the top events of the summer playbill with the aim of becoming a nationwide kermesse.
The ambition of the festival is clear: to become a major event attracting thousands of young people, with a target of 5,000 participants for each of the three evenings. The selected dates,Aug. 22-24, 2024, are ideal for attracting a large audience during the warm season, when the city comes alive and becomes a crossroads for tourists and music lovers, as well as for lengthening the rush period. The area identified for the holding of the Festival also represents a novelty with the use of the “Ex Castelli” Waterfront Area: an evocative location, ideal for events of this kind.
The program, still being finalized, includes a launch event featuring national DJs and bands and two after parties with national/local DJs and bands supported by global brands and partners. In addition, the event will be enriched by art exhibitions and the combination of Abruzzo’s food and wine excellence with international partners to enhance the local culinary culture while offering a variety of international tastes.
One particularly noteworthy aspect is the focus on environmental sustainability. At a time when ecological awareness is increasingly important, organizing an environmentally sustainable event not only reflects an ethical commitment but also a smart strategy that could attract an even wider audience sensitive to environmental issues.
Roseto degli Abruzzi’s youth music festival has all the makings of a must-see summer event, uniting music, youth and sustainability in a triumph of culture and fun.
