Roseto degli Abruzzi is getting ready to celebrate Ferragosto 2025 with a vibrant three-day program of musical events organized by the Municipal Administration, set against the charming backdrop of the city’s seafront promenade.
As every year, the Feast of the Assumption will culminate in the traditional and unmissable midnight fireworks show on August 15, a much-anticipated event that draws thousands of spectators and offers a spectacular display of lights and colors over the sea.
The program kicks off on Wednesday, August 13 at 9:30 PM with a concert by “Le Ombre”, who will take the stage with a selection of iconic songs that made music history in the 1960s and 1970s.
The evening of August 14, also starting at 9:30 PM, will feature a performance by “Fuori Frequenza”, a band sure to get the crowd dancing and entertained with a varied and engaging musical repertoire.
The highlight of the celebrations will take place on August 15. The day’s events are organized in collaboration with the Parish of the Assumption and will begin in the morning at 9:00 AM with the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration.
At 5:00 PM, the solemn procession will depart from the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, winding through the city streets, accompanied by the City of Forcella Marching Band.
This will be followed by one of the most evocative moments of the entire program: the procession at sea, during which a wreath will be laid in memory of the fallen.
At around 7:00 PM, the celebration of Holy Mass will take place at the new Central Seafront Square.
Starting at 9:30 PM, the stage on Roseto’s seafront will be dedicated to “Celentano! The Tribute Show”, a tribute to the great Adriano Celentano, promising to take the audience on a journey through his most famous hits.
The evening and the festivities will come to a spectacular close at midnight with the enchanting fireworks display that will light up the sky above the pier — a much-loved tradition for both residents and tourists.
With their vibrant colors and choreography, the fireworks represent the most eagerly awaited moment of Ferragosto in Roseto, creating a magical and unforgettable atmosphere for all in attendance.
