The Camping Surabaja La Playa Camping Surabaja La Playa enjoys an excellent location. Nestled between the green hills and the blue sea, in the heart of Abruzzo and just a stone’s throw from the Borsacchio Nature Reserve, it overlooks its own private beach of very fine sand and is connected to the town centre (approx. 2 km away) by a cycle and pedestrian path.
This family-run campsite offers not only pitches on flat, grassy ground for tents, caravans or motorhomes (identified by the colours GOLD, RED, BLUE and YELLOW, according to location and electricity supply from 3A to 6A), but also several types of brand-new accommodation units, all featuring comfortable, well-designed spaces suitable to meet every need.
The campsite is equipped with two separate blocks of shared facilities, easily accessible from every pitch. They are supplied with toilet paper and hand paper and include: free hot showers available 24 hours a day, baby baths/showers, dishwashing sinks with hot water, laundry sinks, a laundry area with ironing board and coin-operated washing machines, private bathrooms (available at an extra charge) and a chemical toilet disposal point.
Pet Friendly: here our four-legged guests are just as important as the two-legged ones. Fido can move around freely and safely in the fully fenced Bau Park, , enjoy the beach at the Bau Beach where he can relax under the umbrella on his own dedicated sun lounger, and swim during the permitted time slots. The day can only end at the Beauty Bau Center, a real pet beauty centre equipped with a professional tub, hot water and blower/dryer, where he will be washed, brushed and pampered.
The most inviting place to spend most of the day is undoubtedly our beach.. With its wide stretch of very fine sand and its crystal-clear sea that gently slopes into the water, it is ready to offer breathtaking views, fun, well-being and relaxation.
You can choose to use our beach service,, so you only have to worry about your tan: umbrella, sun loungers, deck chair and even a cot for Fido will already be waiting for you. If, on the other hand, you prefer independence, our private free beach is just right for you. Here you can set up your own equipment and leave it in place from sunrise to sunset, gently lulled by the sound of the sea.
It is in this charming setting that our chiringuito, MOOMBA, is located—where breakfast, an aperitif or lunch becomes a unique experience: tables with a sea view and your feet in the sand, immersed in an informal and evocative atmosphere that accompanies every moment of the day.
Just a few steps away, inside the campsite, our restaurant welcomes guests on a large veranda with a beautiful sea view,where you can enjoy meat and fish dishes, paddle pizzas and many other specialities. Half-board and full-board options are also available, to be enjoyed in a comfortable, panoramic setting that enhances every mealtime.
