Markets

Markets are the emblem of the popularity and strong links that exist with history and ancient traditions and offer interesting products and great value for moeny. In summer and during events and local festivities the promenade, the pier area and the areas hosting celebrations welcome small antiques markets, costume jewellery stands and stalls selling sweets, typical produce and street food. During the week on the other hand, they host the ‘fixed’ markets:

• on Tuesdays from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm in Piazza Olimpia
• on Thursdays from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm on Lungomare Celommi

There’s also a covered market, open Monday to Saturday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, packed with local producers and where certain days are dedicated to special products:

• on Wednesdays it hosts a farmers market
• on Saturdays it hosts Coldiretti’s "Campagna Amica" market
