Casal Thaulero

This was the country residence of the Thaulero family, from which it takes its name. Worth noting are a beautiful piazza and small church - Chiesetta della Genitrice di Dio - built by Giammichele Thaulero in 1836.

Each year, on 8thSeptember the small village hosts celebrations for the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Vitus Martyr and the previous Sunday, a solemn mass is traditionally held, after which there is a procession through the streets of Casale; held in the square that was once home to the ancient chruch this is a very heartfelt celebration for locals.
